Our Proposal 

The proposed primary investment outcome that we are seeking funds for is to : 

Reduce significantly the preventable deaths of mothers and children under five years of age in the Zande population serviced by the Nzara Mission Hospital, South Sudan 

The proposed intermediate outcomes are to reduce significantly hospital-based adverse health conditions related to pregnancy, childbirth or following pregnancy which result in the death of women and their children or impair their functioning and well being. 

The proposed output to be delivered is greater access to improved health care for women who are pregnant, giving birth or following pregnancy and their children. 

The activities that the proposed funding are to provide are an surgical operating theatre and blood transfusion facility. It is planned to import the materials and equipment to build the facilities within a specific period.
